This course focuses broadly on the topic of decarbonization. There have been continued commitments to mitigate global warming and climate change, one of which is the effort to decarbonize our economies through technological means and policy initiatives. The student will discuss the efforts by countries to decarbonize through various strategies and report on the success and any observable impacts (e.g. pollution). Furthermore, the findings will be put into a context for Taiwan and their commitment to decarbonize.
